What we did in class today: We did a preview of our food science topics for the rest of the semester. We also took a look at some final food projects from last year.
What to do if you missed class today: There is nothing you have to makeup. Ask Mr. Jamsa for a list of the food topics we are going to study.
Monday, April 1 – Thursday April 4
This week we are preparing for and taking the Biodiversity Test. The schedule is as follows:
Monday/ Tuesday – prepare for test. Depending on how much time you have missed, here is what I recommend you do to prepare for the test:
A) Copy the notes of a classmate
B) Set up a time with Mr. Jamsa to get your questions answered
C) Watch the Darwin movie that will be uploaded in the Google classroom later Monday. It is FABULOUS. It is the backbone of the entire unit. Don’t set up a time to speak with Mr. Jamsa until you have watched it multiple times. You can stop the film at the 10:10 spot.
You can negotiate a turn in date for the test depending on how much class time you have missed. For most students, the test needs to be turned in on Friday. That should be PLENTY of time.
Wednesday/ Thursday – take the assessment during class and at home. The assignment will be posted in the Google Classroom. It can be worked on in class and at home.
Most of the students are already in the Google classroom from semester one. If not, the code is N4P8MA.
