Wednesday, January 25th
Objective: With my team, we will compare and contrast energy topics with our answer sheet from the Jeopardy game.
What we did in class today: We played a Jeopardy review game about energy types and transformations.
If you missed class today: There really is no way to make up the points for today with the grading period ending tomorrow. The concepts that we reviewed will be presented again next week.
Tuesday, January 24th
Objective: With my team, we will make progress on our science fair project.
What we did in class today: The lab was free today, so we had lab work time to complete or work on our science fair projects.
If you missed today: If you are a Ravenclaw, your science fair project is now past due. If you are a Hufflepuff, your experiments are due complete on Monday.
Monday, January 23rd
Objective: With my team, we will answer critical thinking questions about our observations from the erosion/ deposition plot that we recorded data on in October.
What we did in class today: 1) We went back to the erosion/ deposition sites and made observations. 2) We answered critical thinking questions about the site.
What to do if you were gone today: Obtain a copy of the erosion questions from Mr. Jamsa when you return to school. Go to the site where you originally recorded data about erosion. Give Mr. Jamsa your sheet when complete.
ANNOUNCEMENT: We will be looking at our COMPOSTING inquiry on Thursday. Bottles should be brought in this week.
RAVENCLAWS: Your completed science fair projects should be turned in by Tuesday after school.
