Objective: I will answer questions about natural selction and Darwin from the text book.
What we did in class today: As described above.
If you missed today: You will have to find a fellow student and copy their notes for the test or come in during AG and reading the information and answering the questions yourself.
There is a life webs final exam on Thursday. You can obtain a copy of the exam ahead of time from Mr. Jamsa so you can prepare.
Objective: With my team, we will demonstrate our knowledge of species relationship vocabulary by writing and performing a play for 7th graders.
What we did in class today: We took notes on species relationships and then started the project written above.
If you missed class today: Download the powerpoint below and write the notes in purple in your notebook or on paper. Show Mr. Jamsa for credit. You can either join a team if you want to do a drama, or start your creative story at home. The final project is due Thursday.
Monday, April 30th
Objective: With my team, we will demonstrate knowledge of the big three sciene concepts with a series of art challenges.
What we did in class today: We broke into teams and complete art challenges as described above. I also collected and reviewed spring projects and collected permission forms for the Post Promotion Field Trips.
If you missed class today: Complete the following assignment on a sheet of paper and show Mr. Jamsa when you are done. If you need a permission form and liability form for the post promotion field trips, you can download lower in this blog. As of right now, 26 of the 50 slots have been filled.
Gabi is on a mission. She is tired of there being banana slugs all over the neighborhood. She decides to put an end to it once and for all. She first tries to impale them with spikes, but that becomes too much work. She then devises a clever trap with a tuna can and places the traps all over the neighborhood. Please describe in a SERIES of PICTURES what might happen keeping in mind LIFE WEBS.
