2) spend AT LEAST two hours reading science articles from the below web site and then AFTER THE TWO HOURS to write a review of the articles including its name, a summary of its contents, and your reaction. You can choose other sources of articles for science news, but this is a good one.
Also, don’t forget your dates and obligations for the Spring Research Project.
Wednesday, April 18th – Friday, April 20th
Objective: I will do my best on the OAKS 8th grade science retake OR I will present my research for the endangered species project in a Power Point presentation.
What we did in class today: Students either retook the OAKS test or they worked on the endangered species project as described on the tab at the top of this page.
If you missed class today: You may follow instructions on the Endangered Species Project tab above. You should spend an hour a day on research for every class period you miss.
Tuesday, April 17th
Objective: I will complete the “Why Endangered” section of the Endangered Species research project.
What we did in class today: We followed instructions listed on the “Endangered Species Project” available in the black area above of this blog. Most students completed the first and part of the second page.
If you missed class today: When you have internet access, follow the instructions for the endangered species project. Spend a good hour working on it and show Mr. Jamsa your work when you return.
Monday, April 16th
Objective: I will learn about various body systems as Mr. Jamsa shares a personal health story.
What we did in class today: What is written above.
If you missed class today: Your spring research project is due in ten days. Otherwise, you have nothing to make up.
