If you missed today: Find a classmate who knows the song. Write down the lyrics and turn them in to Mr. Jamsa.

Objective: I will demonstrate my knowledge in a diagram of earth science collaboratively learned today.
SUMMARY OF TODAY:
A) Poke-your-Brain Ice Breaker
B) Students sharing knowledge about earth science followed by a mini-lecture by Mr. Jamsa.
C) In teams, students complete the objective above.
IF YOU MISSED TODAY: Collect a Poke-your-Brain paper from Mr. Jamsa’s class. Answer at least five of the questions as well as you can. You DO NOT need to complete the name and fun fact columns. Turn in next class.
HOMEWORK: Bring a single subject spiral notebook to class before Monday, 9/12. You can buy one from Mr. Jamsa for a quarter.

Objective: I will write a complete paragraph demonstrating my knowledge of the greatest tool on earth.

The following video demonstrates how hard it can be at times to share a new “paradigm” or way to view something with someone who has a different perspective. Its truth speaks for itself. I have trouble viewing it at Mark Twain, so you might have to watch it at home.
